Amy's approach to therapy is warm and interactive. She draws on various therapeutic methods, with a lens toward humanistic/experiential therapy. Her education and training has prepared her well to work with children, adolescents, adults and families struggling with an array of challenges. Amy has experience in a variety of settings including hospital, rehabilitation, and correctional facilities. She has led groups as well as provided individual therapeutic interventions in all of these settings. Amy has an innate ability to join and create a strong therapeutic alliance with her clients. She is energetic and has a natural way of connecting with clients. Amy is also fluent in Arabic.
