Ally brings warmth, curiosity, and compassion to her work, fostering a safe space for exploration, growth, and healing. Before beginning her clinical training, she spent four years as a Montessori teacher. This experience informs her relational approach and provides valuable insight into the dynamics of children, parents, and families.

 

She follows a narrative approach, helping clients explore the stories they carry about themselves and supporting them in rewriting them in empowering ways. Ally recognizes clients as the experts of their own lived experience and works collaboratively to help them build confidence, set boundaries, and strengthen their relationships—starting with the one they have with themselves.

 

Her approach is rooted in systemic thinking, acknowledging the powerful influence of identity, environment, and relationships on how we experience the world. She is trauma-informed, sex-positive, anti-racist, and affirming of all identities. Ally is completing her final year in Adler University’s Master’s in Couple and Family Therapy program.

Fun Facts About Ally

• Enjoys taking her silver lab, Bennie, for long walks on the lakefront trail and snuggling up at home with her two cats, Lola and Rosie

• Loves scary movies and has probably seen just about all of them

• Enjoys experimenting in the kitchen, from baking homemade focaccia to testing out new recipes
